Homecare, Personal Care & Support
Our dedicated, experienced, friendly care givers have offered the highest standards of care in the comfort of people’s homes for over 10 years. We have worked in the Bradford, Ilkley and Craven areas of Yorkshire and are now offering our services in Harrogate and surrounding areas.
We focus on supporting you to maintain your independence. We agree with you what you want to achieve from the support we give and how best to reach your goals. We tailor your care package to meet your identified needs and choices, whilst supporting you to maintain your dignity and respect.
We are able to provide visits from 15 minute pop ins to 24 hour care.
We provide the highest standard of care from professional care givers in your own home because your home is where you feel safest of all, a place filled with precious memories. We understand how much it means to you to remain living independently in your own home.
Specialist and dementia care are all about helping you or your loved one to have the support they need to carry on living in their own home. Our carers always work to follow a routine that you’re used to and comfortable with, maintaining independence as much as possible, and always promoting the highest standard of care for the person they’re supporting.
We can put a temporary package or care in place if your usual care giver is unable to care for you or if you are needing a little extra help following an illness or a stay in hospital. This allows carers to take breaks
Our Complex Care service enables healthcare providers to transfer the management and delivery of complex Care packages to the home care environment. Our aim is to work in partnership with healthcare professionals and the extended multi-disciplinary team, to provide a safe and appropriate package of care to the client.
We can provide a range of domestic support services to help maintain your independence in your own home. Dignicare can offer support with a range of household duties such as cleaning, hoovering, laundry, ironing and changing beds.

Dignicare is managed and run by Gizelle Armstrong who is a former Registered Nurse with over 30 years’ experience in the care sector. Our staff are selected for their maturity and professional qualities and are qualified to a minimum NVQ level 2.
We are committed to maintaining a happy, motivated and highly trained workforce with the key skills, understanding and competence to promote and maintain the highest standards of care and assistance.
